Why Does Gravity Suck? (TheNorwegianSkeptic)

In this first part of the video, I take two different approaches to answering this question. First is the metaphorical angle in which gravity seems to be a hindrance to humans. We’re jealous of winged creatures who can, at will, take up flight and leave terra firma. The second angle is the physical reason that gravity works (sucks us down). I’m not an expert in this topic, and only give a very brief explanation of how gravity works.

Pope Benedict & The International Space Station Crew (TheNorwegianSkeptic)

In this section of the video I discuss my thoughts on the recent “conversation” between Pope Benedict and the crew on the International Space Station. Essentially, I found the discussion to be pretty futile and what looked to be more of a PR move on the part of the Vatican than anything really substantive.

There are also some very interesting contrasts when watching this video in terms of the surroundings which the Pope is in, and the oasis of technology which surrounds the crew of the ISS. It’s an interesting contrast, almost a metaphorical representation of two very different worldviews.

Watch the video for all the details. And, if you’re interested in asking any questions for my next questions video, you can fill out this form and I’ll see what I can do!

I may have already done episode #2 by the time you read this post, so you can get a list of current episodes here. In any case, I hope to hear from you!
